Meet Santa

This year we’re extremely excited to announce, we’ll be visited in December by Father Christmas in our Grotto area at the Old Kings Head.

We’re taking bookings on the following dates;

  • Saturday 7th December (Breakfast & Lunch)
  • Saturday 14th December (Breakfast & Lunch)

Children will get to meet Father Christmas with a photo opportunity, where Santa will also hand out a small gift to the children too.

Spaces are limited on these dates; so give the pub a call to reserve your table. Deposit required on booking.

Lunch bookings are based on our Christmas Festive Menu, 2 courses for £31.95 for adults and £25 for Children.

Breakfast bookings are £25 for adults and £25 for children, which includes a breakfast meal with a bucks fizz, alternatively a juice respectively for children.

Santa & His Reindeer

Christmas Carols by Stock C of E choir

Join us on Wednesday 18th of December 5:30pm – 7:30pm where we’ll be having a little Christmas bash. Stock C of E school choir will be joining us to sing some festive carols and raise much needed funds for the school.

We will also be joined by the big man himself (Santa) and his reindeer. Where you can get up close and personal with them and even sit in Santa’s sleigh. So, make sure you are on the nice list!

We will also be holding a BBQ and serving mulled wine and mince pies to keep the party going. This is a free ticketed event so please grab your tickets via the pub.

We would love to see you there in support for our wonderful local children.

Cupcake Decorating Class

Christmas Cupcake Decorating

Why not bring the little ones down for a fun filled afternoon of frosting, hot chocolate and mince pies? We have teamed up with the amazing Jess Brown to bring to you a Christmas Cupcake decorating class.

Six cupcakes home baked by Jess will be provided per child, along with all the tools, frosting a decorations they could possibly need. All that’s left to do is the fun part. Jess will teach your little ones how to pipe, stencil, stamp and much more. All children get complimentary hot chocolate and mince pies (because they can never have too much sugar at Christmas time)

All children get to enjoy a free main course when you book in for dinner afterwards.

The class will run from 4.30pm – 6.30pm on Monday 9th December. The cost is £25.00 per child.

Christmas Wreath Making Class with Afternoon Tea

Floristry class

Come and join us on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd December for our wreath making masterclass with Stock Florist. The class is held between 12 – 2pm where you will be taught how to create a stunning festive wreath.

After all that hard work you can indulge in our delicious afternoon tea (served 2.30 -4pm) and enjoy a glass of fizz too! The cost of the work shop and afternoon tea is £67.50 per head or you can upgrade to bottomless prosecco for an extra £7.50, so why not treat yourself.
